Hate In Our Schools: Impact of DEI Cuts, Curriculum Changes, and Advocacy Group Influence on Social Cohesion and Violence Risk

This report evaluates the impact of recent policy changes, including the removal of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) components from curricula and severe DEI funding cuts. Additionally, it provides an academic analysis of advocacy groups, such as Moms for Liberty and Project 2025, whose campaigns shape the sociopolitical landscape. The analysis concludes that these shifts may heighten hate incidents, weaken social cohesion, and increase political polarization, with both short- and long-term consequences.
